Do Simple Training Programs Cost a Lot of Money?

While many smaller business owners would like to initiate some sort of training program for new employees, there is the perception that these types of programs cost a lot of money. In fact, there are simple training programs on the market today that are very affordable. In fact, you may even be able to download some programs for free.

The actual expense of simple training programs will depend on the complexity of the training itself. In many instances, you can use software to easily customize training sessions and generate reading material for your new employees. Some programs will include interactive options that allow trainees to go through the classes at home. In some cases, most of the training can be done individually, augmenting those sessions with a few group meetings before the classes are completed.

Take some time to look online for training programs that seem to be a good fit for your business. Try some of the free programs first and see if they include the features that will work well in your corporate environment. You may find that it is possible to put together a viable training program for very little money. Even if the free programs don’t offer exactly what you need, there are fee based training programs that can be easily adapted to any business environment.

Marine Engine Mounts for My Catamaran

I have always dreamed of having my own catamaran. There is something about the way the twin hulls glide through the water that is so magnificent. I have been looking for years to find one that was just right. I went out and purchased a 2004 model that needed new engines.

As part of the engine retrofit I was forced to modify the marine engine mount configuration. The original engines were ancient naturally aspirated two-cycle engines. The advantage of those old engines was that they did not have the inherent vibration of the newer four-cycle engines. I was able to operate the craft a couple of times with the old engines and it was smooth as silk although there were some problems with the operation, that helped me determine that the older engines were not viable any longer. As a friend and I were removing the old engines we noticed that there was little for vibration control. The hull was able to attenuate the low vibration of the old engines. We determined that some vibration isolators were warranted. We found some marine engine mounts that were designed especially for this type of engine and vessel, they were purchased and installed. We have finished the repower and are very impressed with the attenuation of the mounts.
