I grew up in a home without much technology. My mom and dad thought that our family didn’t need to watch TV a lot or use a computer often. They thought that we should use our time to play outside instead of staring at a screen. Our family did have a TV, but it was really little, and it only had ten channels on it. This was unfortunate for me because watching movies is one of my favorite things to do.
I eventually grew up and moved out of my parents’ house, and I got married five months ago. I have loved living away from home because I can watch more TV without my parents getting mad at me for it. For my wedding, one of my closest friends gave my husband and I a brand new 3D HDTV. It’s bigger than any TV I have ever owned before, and the screen is crystal clear. My husband and I decided to put our new 3D HDTV in our basement where all of our couches are. Every week, we have a movie night where we watch at least two different movies together. It is the highlight of my week and I am so glad that we have a 3D HDTV to watch them on.
